Description	This document has been obtained from UHD Book 2.0, by extracting only the minimum requirement for HD DTT receivers known as “zappers”. The document keeps the same numbering of chapters and clauses of the parent document to ease comparison. Zappers are expected to play a crucial role in the forthcoming transition of the Italian DTT systems, from DVB-T to DVB-T2 as the transmission technique and from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 as the minimum coding scheme. The new switchoff is planned to happen from September 2021 to June 2022. In perspective, HEVC coding is also foreseen to take place. Zappers conforming to this specification are meant to properly retrofit non recent and non-compatible TV sets.
